Visit to Perrysburg

A couple weekends ago, we paid a visit to my family in Perrysburg, Ohio. Satchel finally got to meet her Great Aunt and Great Grandma.

With Great Grandma Carol (both in green!)

Four Generations (Satchel's Great Grandma, Grandpa, and me)

Great Aunt Diane (somehow we missed getting a photo with Great Uncle Paul, but he was there, too)

With Great Aunt Barb who spend a lot of time rocking Satchel (she got spoiled!)

The first immunizations

Satchel had her 2 month doctor visit a couple weeks ago and her first immunizations. She took them like a champ. She screamed for a few minutes but then she was OK. The worst part was that I had to hold her while she got the shots to stop her from squirming. Oh, the betrayal!

Battle scars bandaged with Loony Toons BandAids.

Showing off how well she kicks her legs (even after just getting shots).

Some of Satchel's Favorite Things

Napping - Birdie joined us.

Sitting with Daddy.

Bouncy chair. Satchel is very good a kicking her feet to make the chair play music and light up.

Sammy also likes the bouncy chair.

5K Run/Walk

We did a 5K Run/Walk (we walked and brought up the rear) for CommunityHealth, the clinic that I work for. Satchel slept most of the way, but still got a formula snack at the end.

In the car seat

Generally when we go for a ride in the car, this is how Satchel passes the time...... Yesterday I took her to the clinic where I work so that everyone could meet her and true to form, she fell asleep on the way.

Tiny little hands.

Crazy Hair

We are amazed every day at the hair that this girl has! We think it looks somewhat like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.

Swaddled up tight. The best way to sleep.

Pensive.

And now for my latest trick....

Satchel has learned how to blow bubbles and does it quite a lot now. She always looks very serious while doing it, too. Bubbles are a serious matter.
